Privacy notice pursuant to Art. 13, 14 GDPR (DSGVO) and the German TTDSG

The controller responsible for data processing on this website is: euroneo UG (haftungsbeschränkt) i.G., Germany. Email: info@euroneo.news. A data protection officer is not required under Sec. 38 BDSG as the company regularly employs fewer than 20 persons with data processing activities.

Scope of this Policy

This privacy policy applies to euroneo.news and covers all data processing activities related to the use of our website and any communication with us. This policy was last updated in February 2026.

Website Hosting & Server Logs (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR)

Our website is hosted by Vercel Inc., USA, and delivered through Cloudflare Inc., USA (CDN, DNS, DDoS protection). When you visit our site, Vercel and Cloudflare automatically collect server log data: IP address, browser type, operating system, referrer URL, pages accessed, date and time, and data transferred. Legal basis: legitimate interest in stable and secure operation (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Server logs are retained for up to 30 days. Data processing agreements (Art. 28 GDPR) are in place with both providers.

Cookies & Tracking (Sec. 25 TTDSG)

We use only technically necessary cookies required for our website to function correctly, including locale preference and the Cloudflare bot management cookie. Technically necessary cookies are exempt from the consent requirement under Sec. 25(2) No. 2 TTDSG. We do not use cookies for advertising or cross-site tracking.

Web Analytics (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR)

We use Vercel Analytics, which collects anonymized page view and performance data (Web Vitals) without using cookies or tracking personal data. This is processed on the basis of our legitimate interest in monitoring website performance (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). A DPA with Vercel is in place.

Third-Party Processors & International Transfers (Art. 28, Art. 44-49 GDPR)

We use the following processors with data processing agreements in place: (1) Vercel Inc. (USA) — website hosting and analytics. (2) Supabase Inc. (USA) — database hosting on AWS infrastructure. (3) Cloudflare Inc. (USA) — CDN, DNS, DDoS protection. Transfers to the USA are safeguarded by the EU-US Data Privacy Framework adequacy decision (Art. 45 GDPR). We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

Data Retention (Art. 13(2)(a) GDPR)

We retain personal data only for as long as necessary. Specific retention periods: server logs — up to 30 days; contact inquiries — until resolved; tax-relevant records — 10 years (Sec. 147 AO); commercial correspondence — 6 years (Sec. 257 HGB). After expiry, data is deleted or anonymized.

Your Rights (Art. 15-22 GDPR)

Under the GDPR, you have the following rights: (1) Right of access (Art. 15). (2) Right to rectification (Art. 16). (3) Right to erasure (Art. 17). (4) Right to restriction (Art. 18). (5) Right to data portability (Art. 20). (6) Right to object (Art. 21). (7) Right to withdraw consent (Art. 7(3)). Data Security (Art. 32 GDPR)

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data. All data is encrypted using SSL/TLS (HTTPS). Access to personal data is restricted to authorized personnel on a need-to-know basis.

Minors

Our services are not directed at children under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 16. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal data, please contact info@euroneo.news.

External Links

Our website contains links to external third-party websites over whose content and privacy practices we have no influence. We expressly distance ourselves from all data processing on linked pages. A permanent review of external privacy practices is not reasonable without concrete evidence of a violation (§ 7 Abs. 2 DDG). Upon becoming aware of privacy violations, we will remove such links immediately.

We reserve the right to update this privacy policy to reflect changes in our data processing activities or legal requirements. The current version is always available on this page.

Right to Object (Art. 21 GDPR)

Where we process your personal data on the basis of legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR), you have the right to object at any time for reasons relating to your particular situation. This applies to processing for web analytics (Vercel Analytics), server log analysis, and any profiling based on these provisions. If you object, we will no longer process your data for those purposes unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds. To object, email info@euroneo.news.

Right to Lodge a Complaint (Art. 77 GDPR)

You have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority if you believe that the processing of your personal data violates the GDPR. You may contact any EU supervisory authority, in particular in the Member State of your habitual residence, place of work, or place of the alleged infringement.
